Calusa Garden Club Request (L. Scherzinger)

BACKGROUND: At the Committee’s February 5, 2025 meeting, Committee Vice-Chair Linda Scherzinger advised the Committee that a request for a future allocation from the Committee's annual Tree Fund (if continued for fiscal year 2026 and beyond) for the planting of additional trees in Calusa Park along Winterberry Drive will be forthcoming to the Committee from the Calusa Garden Club.
The Calusa Garden Club’s request will be reviewed by the Committee at its March 5, 2025 meeting.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: N / A
RECOMMENDATION: Receive the Calusa Garden Club request; consider it in light of the Committee’s priorities and development of a Master Tree Planting Plan for the Island.
POTENTIAL MOTION: None expected.
