Ten Thousand Trees Update (M. Cory)

BACKGROUND: At the Committee’s June 5, 2024 meeting, Member Cory volunteered to lead the ongoing Ten Thousand Trees in Ten Years pilot program, succeeding former Beautification Advisory Committee member and Committee Chair David Leaser in this effort.
At the Committee’s July 3, 2024 meeting, Member Cory reported that Mr. Leaser provided him with excellent background and well-organized files on the history, contacts, and accomplishments of the program to date.
An update on the progress of the Ten Thousand Trees in Ten Years Pilot Program is expected from Member Cory at the Committee’s September 4, 2024 meeting.

RECOMMENDATION: Receive Member Cory’s report.
