BACKGROUND: At the Committee’s November 1, 2023 meeting, Committee Member Sharon Watts led the Committee’s discussion in identifying volunteer Committee Member leads and supporting Committee members for the following events/activities:
MARCO NATURE NIGHT

Supporting Committee Members: Vice-Chair Connelly & Member Nesmith
MARCO-IN-BLOOM
Committee Lead: Member McDonald
Supporting Committee Member: Member Kramer
ARBOR DAY
Committee Lead: Member Homuth
Supporting Committee Member: Chair Leaser
With the recent resignation of Committee Member Tiffany Homuth, and the official date (Friday, April 26, 2024) of Arbor Day rapidly approaching, the Committee should address and consider how it may wish to approach this year’s Arbor Day on Marco Island.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: N / A
RECOMMENDATION: Discuss and determine the Committee’s plans for Arbor Day 2024.
